International Commercial Bank Burundi (ICBB) is a fully licensed commercial bank in Burundi which was founded in May 2024 by a group of Africa-centric international businessmen.

Beginning with our Head Office in Bujumbura, the bank is working to expand its presence by developing a branch network in all major cities and towns in Burundi within the next four years. We also focus on digital banking as well as physical banking and are partnering with international software providers to deliver top tier banking services to our customers.

To serve our customers better, ICBB have opened an international office in Dubai, UAE, which houses our international banking team and manages all of our back office, Investment Banking, Trade Finance and Custodian Services.

ICBB focuses on its customers, and we work tirelessly to provide modern financial services which will help promote economic growth in the country as well as provide meaningful contributions to the entrepreneurial spirit of the Burundian people. Further, following our recent admission to SWIFT, the bank is actively working to expand its network of correspondent banks around the world to promote business and economic cooperation on a global scale.
